About Our Irvington Drywall Crew
We fix walls and ceilings inside homes in Irvington and nearby towns. Before we close anything up, we take photos. You see the damage we found, the repair in progress and the finished surface, so you know exactly what you paid for.

Why we document every job
Most drywall damage hides something. A stain on a ceiling can mean wet insulation above it. A crack over a door will come back if the tape behind it has let go. Once the patch is mudded and sanded, nobody can see what was under there. That bothered us, so we changed how we work.
Now we take pictures at each step. First the damage as we found it. Then the opened wall or ceiling, the backing and screws, the tape and the first coats of compound. Last, the sanded and primed surface, ready for paint. You get that record even if you were at work all day.
This helps landlords and property managers who can't stand in every unit. It helps homeowners who want a record for an insurance claim or a future buyer. And it keeps us honest. If we say a repair is needed, we can show you why.
How we run a job
- 01
A record before we cover anything
We shoot the damage, the opened area and each coat. If we find something we didn't expect, like soft framing or old water damage, we stop and show you before we go further.
- 02
A straight repair-or-replace answer
A small hole gets a patch. A sagging ceiling panel gets replaced. We tell you which one your wall needs, and the photos back it up.
- 03
Texture matching and a clean work area
We match the texture already on your walls, from smooth to orange peel or knockdown, so the repair blends in. Sanding happens under drop cloths with dust control. We clean up at the end of each day, not just the last one.
- 04
Cost explained before we start
We walk you through what moves the price: how big the damage is, access, ceiling height and how many coats the finish needs. If something changes once the wall is open, you see it and hear about it before we keep going.
